Join us for the first Beer School of 2020 to meet Aaron Heaton of Grimm Brothers Brewhouse and discuss historical beer styles.
Aaron Heaton is the co-owner of Grimm Brothers Brewhouse in Loveland Colorado. He began his brewing carrer in 2001 as a homebrewer in North Carolina. He missed the great beers of Colorado and with the limit on NC beers he became active with the pop the cap campaign allowing full strength beers into the state. Aaron continued his professional carrier by attending American Brewers Guild in 2005. He moved back to Colorado and interned at Left Hand Brewery and New Belgium. In 2010, along with Don Chapman, Aaron started Grimm Brothers Brewhouse, the oldest active brewery in Loveland. Grimm Brothers specializes in traditional and non-traditional German style beers and have been wining awards since they started. Aaron also has been judging for BJCP since 2007 and at GABF since 2015.
