City Star’s 14th Annual Valentine’s Day Chocolate and Beer Pairing will feature 5 chocolates expertly paired with 5 beers (4oz pours). Self-guided pairing, share or enjoy solo anytime Saturday, February 14th between 12pm and 9pm. Purchase your pairing in advance citystarpickup.com. Your $30 advance purchase ticket includes 20% gratuity for 2/14 event staff (please don’t add tip in online checkout). Pairings are limited and we do expect them to sell out before 2/14.

Dinner with Juli y Juan’s Kitchen

We are thrilled to welcome Juli y Juan’s Kitchen to City Star Brewing for an intimate beer pairing and unforgettable dinner experience. Juli and Juan are so passionate about their art you can actually taste the love! The exceptional creative fusion cuisine they design is further elevated by Juli y Juan’s infectious passion, energy, and love for what they do. Juli y Juan’s Kitchen was named the Best Catering Company in Colorado in 2018, and we are excited to show you why.

The four course beer dinner will be expertly paired with 4 beers. Tickets are $45 (plus tax and tip) and available for reservation by completing the form below. The dinner will be held in our Zoller Barrel House and the adjacent Great Room at 6pm.

Join us for City Star’s macaron and beer pairing, including 3 French Macaron’s delicately hand crafted and expertly paired with 3 beers (4oz tasters). Macarons are made with love by local Garden Spot Sweets and Treats. Your $20 advance purchase includes 20% gratuity for 1/20 event staff (please don’t add tip in online checkout). A Perfect Valentine at City Star Brewing: Sour Barrel Aged Stout finished with Cherries

The latest in the City Star Zoller Barrel Aged Series will be released in the taproom on Wednesday, February 14th: Scarlet is a sour stout aged 9 months in oak barrels finished with cherries. She rings in at 7% ABV.

We absolutely love this darling! Soured with both lactobacillus and pediococcus bacteria as well as brettanomyces yeast (big words for excellent souring agents!). A blend of  Bing, Lambert, Van, and Royal Anne sweet cherries were added to this beer… approximately 50lbs of cherry per barrel. The beer has a velvety smooth mouthfeel. Luscious waves of cocoa roll along the tongue, and the cherry sweetness rounds out the sour flavor profile. Bottles will be for sale in the City Star taproom, and on tap for sampling. Each bottle is dipped in wax and hand stamped with the City Star Brewing seal.

City Star will also be hosting their 6th annual Chocolate & Beer Pairing for Valentine’s Day that evening. If you are interested in reserving a pairing, you can do so at citystarbrewing.com/chocolate-beer
