Stevens rapidly gained national attention with a national tour and sponsorships from Coors\, Southwest Airlines and Cowgirl Punk Clothing. She also charted #5 on EuroAmerican radio chart and #6 on Roots Music Report with the release of Queen of this Mess\, recorded in New York with Grammy award-winning producer Malcolm Burn (Emmylou Harris\, Red Dirt Girl). Combining good ‘ol country heartache along with snarky folksy wit\, Sugar Britches has been playing non-stop throughout Colorado and Wyoming in bars\, parking lots\, weddings\, bat mitzvahs\, rodeos\, amphitheaters and regular-ass theaters since 2017. \nRecent highlights for the band include recognition on The Colorado Sound’s Top 20 List of Colorado Artists for 2021 and an opening slot at the legendary Mishawaka Amphitheatre for Wynonna Judd. \nSugar Britches also won Best New Band of 2018 and Best Country Band of 2019 from the Fort Collins Musicians Association and were nominated for Best Country Band of 2019 by the Denver Westword. Her release ‘Urban Love’ was the one that kicked her Spotify success off\, having been picked up on New Music Nashville and holding the playlist for four straight weeks.
