DESCRIPTION:Mike Finders is a guitarist\, bandleader\, singer\, entertainer\, educator in his multi-decade career in story and song.  For the last fifteen years he has toured Colorado and the West with his bluegrass band\, FY5\, as well as his blues band\, Spidercat.  He is a two-time winner of the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest in Wilkesboro\, NC\, and his songs are regularly played not only on syndicated and public radio\, but also at jams around campfires at bluegrass festivals across the west.  In between his band endeavors\, one of Mike’s favorite things to do is perform solo or duo. \nMike is focused on providing entertainment for crowds ranging from busy bar rooms to attentive folk enthusiasts.  He has hundreds of songs in his repertoire and is able to pull ones to fit the occasion and room.  His singing is authentic\, familiar\, and nuanced as one might expect a veteran folk performer to sing\, while his guitar playing is suited to match the singer and song\, with flourishes of blues and bluegrass licks to showcase his chops.  Always ready to include stories with his songs\, Mike is a gifted MC\, and can bring the room together with an affable and humorous delivery.

DESCRIPTION:Aaron Mitchell thrives in the creative realm as a community arts activator\, artist/illustrator\, graphic designer/facilitator\, Instructor\, singer/songwriter\, director\, arts coordinator\, writer\, collaborator\, event organizer\, creative marketing/branding creator etc. \nIN THE MUSIC WORLD–Aaron Mitchell is an indie-western folk/country singer\, songwriter and visual artist. \nHe was born and raised in the small rural town of Ft. Lupton\, Colorado\, but moved to Chicago in his early twenties to live the “big city” life. In his younger days he was very influenced by new wave\, punk\, indie and alternative. However\, while cutting his teeth in Chicago as a musician\, ironically Aaron found himself being drawn to the sound of early country music- taking him back to his roots of growing up a “city boy” in a “country town.” After falling under the spell of artists like Hank Williams Sr.\, Johnny Cash\, Dylan\, John Prine\, Townes Van Zandt and many others he started to carve out his own distinct sound as a songwriter. \nAaron explores all the ups and downs of life through his songwriting in an authentically vulnerable fashion. He’s the real deal– in that  he is real. He is a heart wailer; deciphering codes and honoring the whispers of the muse. He can sing a romping’ “stick it to the man” song and go right in to a heart broken ballad then top it off with a funny “tongue and cheek” ditty. \nHe released a new solo album in March of 2024 called FICTIONAL LOVER!

SUMMARY:Sean Waters Duo
DESCRIPTION:Sean Waters creates a feel-good mix of folk\, soul\, and americana inspired from his musical roots and experience teaching philosophy and composition at Colorado State University.  Now 37\, Waters has been writing\, singing\, and performing since 2002 with regional bands Wasabi and the Seers. In early 2019\, Waters caught his first break after sharing demos with L.A.-based producer Justin Andres (Eric Burdon and the Animals\, Little Monarch). His first single\, “Easy Graces\,” an indie-rock spin on the star-crossed lover tale\, features the unassuming vocal ease of Beck or Ben Harper\, and the pop sensibility of Coldplay.\nSean has appeared at the Colorado Showcase at SXSW\, The Colorado Brewers’ Festival\, First Night Fest\, Fortoberfest\, and other events across the front range. In local press\, Sean has been called a “skillful\, entertaining and soulful performer\, ” “entertaining and engaging\,” “enjoyable\,” and “hard-working.”   He’s on Instagram at @seanwaters_ and on Faceook as @SwanWaters.
