SUMMARY:Hoss and the Hangman
DESCRIPTION:Hailing from the rugged foothills of Northern Colorado come Hoss and the Hangman. The band blends the raw storytelling of traditional folk\, the driving rhythms of country western\, and the soulful depth of Americana. At the heart of the band’s signature sound is Ben\, the lead singer\, songwriter\, and guitarist. Anchoring the rhythm section is Anthony on stand-up bass. Anthony’s deep\, resonant thumping gives the band its heartbeat\, locking in perfectly with Ben’s guitar to create a massive wall of acoustic sound. Don’t miss seeing these two perform!

SUMMARY:Angie Stevens and Friends
DESCRIPTION:“Go on: Just try to find a single soul who’s seen Angie Stevens live and not been completely entranced. Bolstered by songs that are often chillingly poignant … Stevens makes the icicles form on your spine the minute she takes the stage.” Westword\, Best Singer/Songwriter of Denver Angie Stevens has made a name for herself over her 20 year long career. She was named Denver’s Best Singer/Songwriter by both the editors and fans of Westword (Denver) as well as Emerging Artist of the Year and Best Independent Artist of the Year (Hapiskratch Records). Stevens rapidly gained national attention with a national tour and sponsorships from Coors\, Southwest Airlines and Cowgirl Punk Clothing. She also charted #5 on EuroAmerican radio chart and #6 on Roots Music Report with the release of Queen of this Mess\, recorded in New York with Grammy award-winning producer Malcolm Burn (Emmylou Harris\, Red Dirt Girl). Stevens put out Beautiful & True in 2016 with John Macy (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band). On the album\, highly acclaimed singer/songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov joined her on her song “Sweet Emily.”\n\nIn 2021\, Angie was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and spent a year doing surgery and treatments. As soon as the dust settled and she was in remission\, Angie decided to go back into the studio and record the songs she wrote over some of the toughest years of her life. “There is so much to learn from hitting the proverbial bottom. I cannot wait to get back on stage and bare my soul\,” says Stevens.\nhttps://www.letlovebethelight.com

SUMMARY:John McKay
DESCRIPTION:John McKay’s first instrument was piano\, which he started playing at the age of 10. He quickly realized by the age of 11 that the drums were his real interest. By the age of 15\,  John was learning guitar and bass. From then on the guitar became his main focus. Throughout the years he played in various bands. In 1996 John earned a B.A. in Classical guitar performance from the University of Colorado Boulder. His first band playing his original music is the Wiley Cotton Band which was named after his father- Wiley Cotton McKay. This band got together in Feb. 2014 for a show at the Dickens Opera House in Longmont which was quite a blast! \nGuitarist/singer/songwriter John McKay blends the deeply personal insights of a man immersed in nature\, places of the past  along with political observations of a protest singer\, and the broad musical traditionalism of a folk rock musician with the passion and commitment tot a rock and roller. A musicians musician\, McKay has an element of distraction to his performance as it is difficult to ignore the guitar playing which is in competition with vivid mind-expanding lyrics. \nThe John McKay Band is rich with musical talent which runs the musical gamete from jam band to folk rock to world musics. JMB is a combination of the familiar things that exemplify retro rock and roll and folk music that we all are presently yearning for from the past with modern touch of contemporary times and life today. \nRock • Americana • Blues • Guitarist \nhttp://www.johnmckaymusic.com

SUMMARY:Waffle Lab
DESCRIPTION:Highly Evolved Waffles –> Waffle Lab \nFounded in April 2012 in Old Town Fort Collins\, Colorado\, The Waffle Lab specializes in gourmet Belgian-style Liège waffles.  Using our signature “classic” waffle as the base\, we create amazing sweet and savory waffle combinations.  Perfect for breakfast\, brunch\, lunch\, dinner and dessert\, the hardest part of The Waffle Lab experience is choosing from our mouth-watering menu. \nWHAT IS A LIEGE WAFFLE?\nOriginally developed in Belgium\, the Liège (pronounced “lee-ayjh”) waffle is unlike any waffle you’ve ever had. Made from yeast-leavened dough (not a batter) and specially imported Belgian pearl sugar\, this mouth-watering piece of heaven is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Baked at the perfect temperature\, the sugar pearls melt on the inside and caramelize on the outside for a sweet\, delicate crunch. Believe us\, this waffle is sweet and moist enough on its own—no syrup necessary!

SUMMARY:Mike Finders Duo
DESCRIPTION:Mike Finders is a guitarist\, bandleader\, singer\, entertainer\, educator in his multi-decade career in story and song.  For the last fifteen years he has toured Colorado and the West with his bluegrass band\, FY5\, as well as his blues band\, Spidercat.  He is a two-time winner of the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest in Wilkesboro\, NC\, and his songs are regularly played not only on syndicated and public radio\, but also at jams around campfires at bluegrass festivals across the west.  In between his band endeavors\, one of Mike’s favorite things to do is perform solo or duo. \nMike is focused on providing entertainment for crowds ranging from busy bar rooms to attentive folk enthusiasts.  He has hundreds of songs in his repertoire and is able to pull ones to fit the occasion and room.  His singing is authentic\, familiar\, and nuanced as one might expect a veteran folk performer to sing\, while his guitar playing is suited to match the singer and song\, with flourishes of blues and bluegrass licks to showcase his chops.  Always ready to include stories with his songs\, Mike is a gifted MC\, and can bring the room together with an affable and humorous delivery.
