Jeremy Mohney is a Denver/Boulder based swing band leader, bringing singing, sax playing, a groovy band and original music with him to venues like the Mercury Cafe, Dazzle Jazz and The 1940s Ball along with tours to all parts. His career was built from playing on humble street corners and then all the way to these hallowed halls. The music is for armchair listeners and seasoned jitterbugs of all creeds. Jeremy and his group aim to make swing and jazz groove to anyone who hears it.
Musicians Mohney’s shared the stage with include Vince Herman (Leftover Salmon), Bonnie Paine and Daniel Rodriguez (Elephant Revival), La Pompe Jazz, and Banshee Tree. In July of 2017, he and his band released their 5th original EP, “Burning In Me”, available on iTunes, Spotify and more. 2018 is looking like another great year of music releases and live shows with an album on the way. Hep hep!
“That’s some fun swingin’ right there, Spuds” – Jesse Miner (Hey Mister Jesse Podcast)
“Mohney purposefully plays up the blue notes, making a statement for standard contemporary hot jazz that reverberates throughout the recording.” – Claire Woodcock (Bolder Beat)
