Bill Huston and Greg Schochet

With a songwriting style marked by vivid imagery and honest stories, Bill Huston has been performing throughout Colorado and beyond for many years. Bill is a songwriter and lead guitarist for Front Range acoustic powerhouse Monocle Band and the primary songwriter behind roots rock band Western Skyline. Influenced by greats from John Prine to Townes Van Zandt to Conor Oberst, Bill’s songs remain true to classic roots but find an original life through the unique poetic lens and voice of this contemporary troubadour.

For several decades, Greg Schochet has been an indelible part of the musical landscape of Colorado. An unparalleled instrumentalist equally at home on the guitar and mandolin, Greg has played with a who’s who list of Rocky Mountain musical greats, lending his unique mix of country, bluegrass, jazz, and rock ‘n roll styles to an astounding variety of bands and artists. Currently, most nights will find Greg playing with country heavyweights Halden Wafford & the Hi-Beams and western-swing virtuoso Katie Glassman & Snapshot.

Together Bill and Greg perform a wide range of Bill’s original folk and Americana songs, and a few choice covers, delivering lyrically powerful stories wrapped in a tapestry of sparkling musicianship.
