She was named Denver’s Best Singer/Songwriter by both the editors and fans of Westword (Denver) as well as Emerging Artist of the Year and Best Independent Artist of the Year (Hapiskratch Records). Stevens rapidly gained national attention with a national tour and sponsorships from Coors\, Southwest Airlines and Cowgirl Punk Clothing. She also charted #5 on EuroAmerican radio chart and #6 on Roots Music Report with the release of Queen of this Mess\, recorded in New York with Grammy award-winning producer Malcolm Burn (Emmylou Harris\, Red Dirt Girl). Stevens put out Beautiful & True in 2016 with John Macy (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band). On the album\, highly acclaimed singer/songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov joined her on her song “Sweet Emily.”\n\nIn 2021\, Angie was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and spent a year doing surgery and treatments.
